Our Story
We built DOUMANO because we were tired of living with pain.
Not dramatic. Just the daily kind — the kind you stop noticing until you cannot ignore it anymore.
It started with a desk.
Our founder spent years working long hours in front of a screen. First it was just stiffness at the end of the day. Then it became tension that never fully left. Mornings felt heavier. Sleep got worse. The knot at the base of the neck became a permanent resident.
He tried everything — foam rollers, heating pads, massage chairs at the airport. Nothing lasted more than an hour. Nothing got deep enough to where the tension actually lived.
So we went to work.
We spent over a year studying how professional massage therapists actually work — the angle, the pressure, the heat, the rhythm. We learned that real shiatsu is not about vibration. It is about kneading: a rotating, lifting motion that reaches deep into muscle tissue, not just the surface.
We built four bionic nodes that mimic that exact motion. We added infrared heat that reaches 113°F — the threshold where muscle fibers genuinely release, not just feel warm. We made it cordless, because pain does not wait for you to find a wall outlet.
DOUMANO is not a gadget.
